Marina Pollán Santamaría, Generaldirector of the Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII) in Spain, led a delegation on a visit to CAMSPUMC on Sept 17,2026. Wu Chen, Vice president of CAMS PUMC, met with the delegation. Vice President Wu Chen reviewed the history of CAMS PUMC and highlighted its strengths in medical education and research. She noted that ISCIII is Spain’s leading national public health research institution and the key institution supporting and coordinating biomedical and health sciencesresearch in Spain. In August 2026, the 2026 Visiting Programme at the CAMS Oxford Institute (COI), University of Oxford, concluded successfully. The programme welcomed the medical students from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) and was supported by COI Director Professor Tao Dong, Director of Training Dr Ricardo A. Fernandes, Programme Lead Dannielle Wellington, CSC-COI DPhil Scholarship Lead Dr Beibei Wang, programme administrators Mimie Szyk and Natalie Baker, as well as COI group leaders, DPhil students, lab buddies and workshop trainers.
