On July 7, 2026, a delegation from Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed) visited PUMC, joined by representatives from Guizhou Medical University. At the symposium, both sides held in-depth discussions on medical studies, clinical practice, research training, career development, and campus life, sharing experiences in a warm atmosphere. The delegation then toured PUMC's history exhibition, gaining insights into the institutional evolution, disciplinary achievements, and medical education outcomes.This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding between HKUMed and PUMC and helped Hong Kong medical youth gain a deeper insight into national conditions, but also effectively promoted mutual learning and emotional bonds among the medical youth from both regions, while laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in areas such as joint talent cultivation and collaborative academic research.
